Film Music Composer, Francesco de Donatis è un musicista che incanta il pubblico con le sue composizioni per film, commercias, documentary, TV e videogiochi.

Noto per aver composto musica per oltre 300 pubblicità come: SUNOCO, REEBOK, TEQUILA 1800, GREY POUPON, ZZZQUIL, TIAA, PEUGEOT EUROPCAR, PHARMA TRANSPLAN, THE LUMINEERS, VISTA PRINT, SUBWAY RADIO, HELLO TOOTHPASTE, BON APPETIT PIZZA, GSBH, GSBH HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CASE STUDY, UMASS STOCK RICERCA, ANIMATION AMERISOURCE, INSPIRA ecc.

Ha composto musica per LE IENE (Mediaset) per Vaporart con Matteo Viviani.

Nel 2012, ha composto la colonna sonora del documentario “Jet Set Quando L’aereoporto sembra Via Veneto” di Antonello Sarno (MEDIASET) vincendo il primo premio di ROMA FILM FESTIVAL 2012 con la proiezione del documentario su tutti gli ALITALIA FLIGHTS a partire da marzo 2013 .

Nel 2012, ha vinto il primo premio al Contursi Film Festival con la colonna sonora per il cortometraggio “FACCIA DA LADRO” di Alessandro Palminiello, ROSSELLINI PRODUCTION di Roma.

Nel 2015, ha vinto il premio “Best of Fest” al Colorado Environmental Film Festival con il documentario “Time Capsule” della BBC, Chris Summerfield, LA USA.

Nel 2003 ha studiato Composizione e Canto Lirico presso il Conservatorio “Nino Rota” di Monopoli (BA).

In seguito, nel 2006, vince una borsa di studio per entrare in Accademia Chigiana, specializzandosi in composizione di musica per film sotto la guida del Maestro Luis Bacalov.

Francesco de Donatis vince una borsa di studio e si laurea in Film Scoring con Minor in Music for Video Game presso il prestigioso Berklee College of Music di Boston, USA ed in Composizione presso l’Università di Salford, a Manchester, nel Regno Unito, con borsa di studio.

Studia Composizione Contemporanea con il famoso compositore M Tibor Józef Pusztai, Orchestrazione con Richard Davis ( Orchestrator for Robin Hood principe dei ladri), film scoring con George S. Clinton (Austin Power Composer), Sheldon Mirowitz ( The Nazi officer’s wife, Odissey of life etc.) Dario Eskenazi (My first wedding, To fool a thief etc etc) and music for videogames con Michael Sweet (Xbox 360 logo,Cartoon Network, Sesame Workshop, PlayFirst etc etc)

Attualmente Francesco de Donatis lavora come film composer presso diverse House Production americane come la Gratitude Sound , GMP, John Arms Production Music.
